It is so great that these guys have seen Indian come back to dominate flat track racing again just as they did in the 40's when they were riding. I have a photo of Mees sitting with the 2 Former INDIAN Wrecking Crew Riders. Both are in their mid 90's now. He was highly respected, tuning championships for several national champions including Bobby Hill and Paul Goldsmith. I support him for the Hall of Fame. Glad you liked it. Your Dad and his BSA cohorts had a plan which was executed to perfection. The odds of capturing the 1st 5 positions were astronomical. I have written many articles for various publications but the BSA story is my favorite. If you have any further comments, antidotes or photos of your Dad's Motorcycle and BSA activities please consider sharing them. Sorry about getting his name wrong. I will get it corrected. "Cyril". I am a BSA fancier myself who recently came into possession of a rather strange BSA Shooting Star 500cc motor with the larger topend, and square-shaped cylinder and head. It appears to have been nicely sorted for racing at one time. Lovely bikes, and the Gold Stars as well. At any rate. I digress. Couldn't happen to a couple of nicer and more awesome racers. God bless you both. Not too many can say they won/placed at Daytona!BSA Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15330629721692263958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5236982401931648958.post-26526975148764017842013-04-30T07:46:07.885-07:002013-04-30T07:46:07.885-07:00Hi, I was simply checking out this blog and I real...Hi, I was simply checking out this blog and I really admire the premise of the article and this is really informative.
